LYON CONVENTION CENTRE: AN EVENT COMPLEX IN THE HEART OF THE CITY
Bold architecture in the heart of the Cité Internationale, designed by Renzo Piano, ultramodern facilities in an exceptional setting, between the Parc de la Tête d’Or and the Rhône, allow the Lyon Convention Centre to compete with the biggest international destinations.
The Lyon Convention Centre offers:
24,000 m² of modular spaces, including 3 amphitheaters (300, 900 and 3,000 seats)
35 fully equipped meeting rooms, accommodating from 50 to 450 people
A modular space of 8,400 m² on one level, without pillars and bathed in natural light.
These fully customizable spaces are dedicated to conventions, seminars, congresses, trade shows, gala evenings, dinners, and concerts. The center offers state-of-the-art internet connectivity with exceptional Wi-Fi and 4G access, particularly for congresses, thanks to a fiber optic and copper infrastructure covering the entire building.
It also houses an amphitheater (Amphitheater 3000), unique in Europe, whose 180° open design, encompassing the stage and access areas, is inspired by Gallo-Roman amphitheaters. This prestigious event complex, located in the heart of the city, hosts more than 200 events per year, including major international congresses.
The Lyon Convention Centre is an infrastructure belonging to the Lyon Metropolitan Area, whose management is delegated to GL events.
